Most fans of the series Babylon Berlin were introduced to this series via Netflix. Only a few Netflix subscribers who are fans of Babylon Berlin know that the series actually made its debut on television in Germany before its appearance on Netflix.

Netflix decided to pick up the series and help fund the continuation of the series. Babylon Berlin has received a perfect rating from rotten tomatoes which is not surprising considering the quality of this spectacular series. There is only one season of Babylon Berlin available to stream on Netflix; however, this single season has established this series as one of Netflix’s best. As the name suggests the series is set in pre world war two Berlin. Interestingly enough, parts of the series were filmed in locations outside of Berlin.

The first season of Babylon Berlin was not exclusively produced within Berlin. Much of the filming was actually done in a studio in Brandenburg, Germany which surrounds Berlin. Brandenburg has been the filming location of choice for a number of notable productions. Big names including A Cure for Wellness, The Hunger Games Part 2, and Captain America: Civil War were actually produced int he same studio that was used to create Babylon Berlin.

Some Netflix subscribers have been arguing about which of these international series is the best on Netflix. I have my own opinion. I honestly think that either Babylon Berlin or Morocco: Love in Times of War is the best international series on Netflix. Both shows have their own style and genre and both seem like they are going to have an interesting future. Babylon Berlin’s second season seems likely as does Morocco: Love in Times of War season 2. This means that both of these shows are going to be entertaining audiences for quite a while.

If you are trying to decide which series you should start between Babylon Berlin and Morocco: Love in Times of War, think about your interest. If you are into a more simple and easier to follow love story I recommend Morocco: Love in Times of War. If you want a bit of a more dark and serious watch, I recommend Babylon Berlin. You cant go wrong either way but personally I lean toward Babylon Berlin, naturally.

One of the most recent additions to Netflix was our beloved series Babylon Berlin. This high budget series is one of the best period dramas of our time. Full of drama and suspense, Babylon Berlin will keep any viewer on their toes. Two seasons of Babylon Berlin have aired on television in Germany on Sky 1 Network. Initially both seasons one and two of Babylon Berlin were available to watch stream on Netflix. Now if you take a look at the series on Netflix there is only one season available. Why is this? I set out to answer this question.

Fans of the series Babylon Berlin, including myself, were sort of pissed when they found out that there is now only one season of Babylon Berlin available to watch on Netflix. When Netflix first added the series, there were two seasons of the show available. The question was raised: “why is there only one season of Babylon Berlin on Netflix?”. I looked into this question and have determined that season 2 of Babylon Berlin is still available to watch on Netflix. Both season 1 and season 2 have been consolidated into a single season consisting of sixteen episodes as apposed to two seasons each consisting of eight episodes. This is a relief for those who may have thought that season two had been removed leaving only one season of Babylon Berlin available to watch on Netflix.
