One of Netflix’s newest original series is Babylon Berlin. There is only one season of Babylon Berlin available to stream on Netflix; however, this single season has established this series as one of Netflix’s best. As the name suggests the series is set in pre world war two Berlin. Interestingly enough, parts of the series were filmed in locations outside of Berlin.
Alternate Filming Locations for Babylon Berlin
The first season of Babylon Berlin was not exclusively produced within Berlin. Much of the filming was actually done in a studio in Brandenburg, Germany which surrounds Berlin. Brandenburg has been the filming location of choice for a number of notable productions. Big names including A Cure for Wellness, The Hunger Games Part 2, and Captain America: Civil War were actually produced int he same studio that was used to create Babylon Berlin.
